Amanda previously took to IG to share clips of herself at the hospital. According to the 1000-Lb Sisters star, she’s been having respiratory issues and is currently waiting for a diagnosis. She revealed that the doctors have been having issues trying to figure out her condition. Amanda believes that her health issue may be related to her weight, but her latest livestream shows that she’s dealing with something worse.
Amanda Gets Serious About Heart Condition Diagnosis
Some 1000-Lb Sisters fans on social media discussed Amanda Halterman’s health issues. The OP said that they’ve been curious due to Amanda’s consecutive IG posts at the hospital. Moments later, several commenters mentioned that Amanda recently shared on her TikTok live that she has postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, also known as POTS.
It is a condition where the patient suffers an increased heart rate just by getting up from sitting or lying down. There is currently no cure for the illness. But studies suggest that it can be managed by changing lifestyles and certain medications.
