Liz Johnston Mourns Devastating Death
Life is great for 7 Little Johnstons star Liz Johnston. She has a beautiful baby girl, Leighton, and is engaged to Brice Bolden. The Forsyth, Georgia resident has been busy planning her wedding, and the family has a lot of good stuff ahead. Their hit TLC reality series is coming back on October 14th, 2025, for Season 16, and there is a lot to unpack. As to whether or not Liz’s wedding will be filmed and shown for a special is yet to be seen. Regardless, she seems to be glowing, but the sparkle has since dimmed.
The reality star revealed that her grandmother has passed away. She shared a snap of her and the sweet lady, with a tribute around them. Liz expressed how much she loved her “Nana,” and noted that she will always love her. They had a sweet resemblance in their happy smiles, and it was clear that this was breaking Liz’s heart to have to post the news. She was the mother of Amber Johnston and had been featured on the series several times. The cause of death has not been revealed, but the halo around her head made it clear she had died.
Now, some 7 Little Johnstons fans questioned if she was really deceased or if this was just a sweet photo. However, as previously noted, Liz Johnston put a halo on her head, thus meaning she is now an angel. Others cited that Grandma had just turned eighty in August. Therefore, that made this even more heartwrenching as she had just hit a huge milestone. It will be interesting to see if her health plays a role in the new season.
