Moreover, she was seen with a trunkload of baby items for Pumpkin Efird in a time of need, being seen as very grandmotherly. Then, June and Doe Doe faced off, and the family fell apart. Viewers started to wonder why they cut Doe Doe off and out of their lives. She did miss Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson’s high school graduation, which caused a lot of drama, but was that the reason for the fallout?
As it turns out, that was the exact reason. Now, as viewers saw on Family Crisis, it was not Doe Doe’s fault that she missed the graduation. She was not in the group chat that detailed the time and date for the graduation. Therefore, all she knew was that it was at the end of the month. Yes, she knows that she could have contacted someone for the exact details, but had no idea she would be excluded from a family chat.

They all felt that was a pretty big deal, and essentially, it tore the family apart. However, fans thought that was a horrible reason to stop speaking to Doe Doe.

The Georgia-based family has yet to forgive Doe Doe for missing Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson’s graduation. Yet, Mama June fans did not care for this reason. They felt that, after all June had done to the girls, this was a drop in the bucket for Doe Doe. Moreover, Doe Doe had always been there for them, whereas June had not, which was noted repeatedly:
