Todd Chrisley is proud to have received a pardon from the President and to have regained his freedom. He has been proudly talking about the pardon and enjoying his new life. But the Chrisley Knows Best star might have to face more legal trouble almost a year after getting a release from jail. A woman named Amy Doherty-Heinze is preparing to file a lawsuit against Todd for failing to pay the money she won in court.
She worked as a tax official for the Georgia Department of Revenue. The woman complained that the reality TV star attacked her and falsely accused her of committing crimes in 2020. Amy also claimed that Todd started a smear campaign against the Georgia Department of Revenue and its employees on social media.
According to TMZ, she accused him of dragging her into the campaign even though she wasn’t involved. Hence, the court awarded Amy the amount she sought in her lawsuit. However, she never received the money and wants to collect the amount she won in the defamation case.
Chrisley currently owes $750,000 in restitution to the woman. The lady also filed the documents in Tennessee to get the money.
