Mama June’s star, Alana, finally saw Josh in person after he and Pumpkin separated. She almost broke down while confessing that a father figure, like Josh, had been keeping distance from her post-split. When Pumpkin told her ex-husband that her sister was hurt by his behavior, he reasoned it out to have not done the deed purposely.

An exclusive sneak peek into Mama June: From Not To Hot Season 8 revealed Alana sitting down with Josh for a heart-to-heart conversation. She quickly, with a bit of hesitation, asked him straight forwardly what made him come to her. She expressed disappointment that she hadn’t heard from him in a month. Josh, who was anxious, paused to reply.
Josh seemed to have driven to Denver to check on Alana after Pumpkin told him what her sister had shared with her. He told Alana that he came to surprise her in the cafe. Alana, in the WeTV confessional, stated that her former brother-in-law was very nervous during his time with her, which she expected, and it’s good.
Alana quizzed Josh about whether his phone was broken, as he couldn’t even dial her number, not even once. He was surely baffled as she said in a million years she didn’t think he would leave her in dust just like that. In his defense, he clarified that he didn’t intend to hurt Alana’s feelings.
Josh didn’t take revenge on Alana, which she might have assumed. He completely cut himself off from everybody’s life, not only hers. In reply, she reminded him that she had gone through the same ordeal when June and Sugar Mike divorced, and that he had permanently quit talking to her.
