Her eldest daughter, Anna Cardwell, was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma, so everyone was very invested in taking care of her. She passed in December 2023, and the family has been working on rebuilding itself.
Throughout this, June had dealt with horrid headaches that landed her in the hospital. She also admitted that she was not feeling right for some time, but was too focused on Anna.
