Matt Roloff recently took to Instagram and blew LPBW viewers’ minds. He shared a picture of his phone’s notepad and stated that he had some “tough news” to share with his audience. The celeb announced that he and Caryn have decided to part ways and end their engagement. Matt wrote, “We remain amicable and will always appreciate the many wonderful memories we have shared.”
He explained that this was the right decision for them at this time, and he would move on in his life with “positivity” and “trust.” Matt didn’t reveal the real reason behind his split and simply announced that he was calling off his engagement. He asked for people’s support and wishes. However, it appears that there is much more to the story.
LPBW: Matt Spent $1.4M On Dream Home
Matt Roloff has been building a massive mansion on his property, and LPBW viewers were sure that it was for none other than Caryn Chandler. He often used to share updates on Instagram and told his audience about the progress of his dream house. The celeb began the construction in 2023 and finally completed it in 2024.
While Matt’s stunning house has been turning heads, the amount spent on it is now dropping jaws. TheSun exclusively revealed that the celeb dropped $1,461,520 on the construction of his dream house. Apparently, Matt initially paid $397,500 in 2023 during the construction and then $1,064,020 in 2024 on the further improvements that were needed.
The source confirmed that Matt’s house was built on 3,949 square foot area and it had three bedrooms and three bathrooms. He even made sure that he was able to enjoy every bit of the house as he installed low countertops and a sink as well. The celeb further got a “standard” kitchen made for Caryn.
Apparently, Caryn didn’t really want to move into the old house because Amy used to live with Matt in it. She didn’t want people to go through the emotional baggage because of the memories that the house had. However, it seems that Caryn didn’t know that she wouldn’t be able to enjoy the house forever.
