Anna Cardwell’s Ex Honors Her On Emotional Day
It was heartbreaking when Anna Cardwell finally reconciled with her family and was then diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. This halted everyone, and Mama June made a concerted effort to be by Anna’s side for whatever she needed. She even helped organize a wedding for Anna and her longtime partner, Eldridge Toney. Unfortunately, in December 2023, Anna passed and her two daughters were separated. Her eldest, Kaitlyn, became the subject of a custody battle, with June ultimately winning. As for the youngest, Kylee, she went to live with her biological father and Anna’s ex-husband, Michael Cardwell.
It seems that she has adjusted and adapted very well under the circumstances. Furthermore, her father married a woman named London, who has been determined to keep Anna’s legacy alive. On August 28th, Anna would have turned 31, as she and her sister, Alana Thompson, share a birthday. For that day, London and Michael Cardwell made sure that Kylee had a cupcake with two candles. She sang “Happy Birthday” to her mother while holding a sentimental bear. The couple had a bear made with Anna and Kylee’s photo on the belly, which was beautiful yet heartwrenching.
London made it clear how much Kylee misses and loves her mother. The little girl beamed, a mouth full of braces, as she celebrated Anna. Sadly, her sister lives with Mama June, and they are in two different states. Therefore, they are not as close as they once were, especially for these monumental and emotional moments. Fans immediately saw the love between Kylee and her stepmother and had to praise London for all that she has done. Moreover, she stepped up when it mattered and has been a constant support system for whatever Kyle needs.

Well I’m glad London seems to be doing a good job as a stepmom and that Kylee gets to live in happy, healthy home I just wish Kaitlyn had the same experience.
The biggest heartache was the separation of the sisters. However, there was a lot of praise for how Kylee was being raised. She seems to be getting a lot of love and nurturing, and will always remember her mother.
