Mama June Shannon is giving a huge update on her daughter, Pumpkin Efird’s four children, amid her divorce from Josh Efird. The two split in August 2024 and immediately filed with Pumpkin, moving on to Josh’s cousin, Darrin Kitchens. So, how are her kids faring? Keep reading for more details.
Mama June Gives Huge Update On Pumpkin’s Kids
Pumpkin Efird shocked Mama June fans when she and her husband of six years, Josh Efird, announced they were divorcing. Everyone thought that they worked really well together; they had four children and even raised her younger sister, Alana Thompson. As it turned out, they had been struggling for years but kept holding on. Shortly after they split, Pumpkin revealed that she had been seeing Josh’s cousin, Darrin Kitchens. While the latest season of Family Crisis aired, viewers saw a whole new side of Pumpkin, and did not care for it. Furthermore, they felt for Josh and were happy he got away from her.
In one scene, Pumpkin and Josh told their eldest daughter, Ella, that they were splitting up. Viewers were livid that this was put on television and that Ella was being exploited. So, over a year after the divorce was filed, how are the four littles doing? Mama June shared a snap of her, her husband, Ella, and Pumpkin’s secondborn, Bentley. She attended Grandparents’ Day at their school and noted how much Bentley loves school. In fact, he would go all day, every day if he could. He is very sassy, as is Ella, and June stated that they are a combo of the whole family.
The kids were smiling as they posed with June, Justin, and Josh’s mother, and they were clearly enjoying the new school year. More so, they seemed happy and well adjusted, which is all any parent can ask for amid a very public divorce. As Pumpkin moved on with Darrin, Josh also had a new love and a new daughter. So, everyone is doing quite well given the circumstances.
