Todd and Julie Chrisley are making up for lost time after a brief stint in prison. That includes many public appearances with friends, old and new. But fans couldn’t see anything else during the couple’s recent public outing because of Julie’s massive diamond ring.
Todd & Julie Chrisley Show Support For A Texas State Senate Hopeful
Todd and Julie Chrisley have a lot of catching up to do after spending two years in prison. They were convicted of fraud, tax evasion, and other charges in 2022. Todd was to serve twelve years in prison and Julie seven.
After their daughter, Savannah’s efforts, Todd and Julie got Presidential pardons in May 2025. They made a triumphant return to reality TV with a new show called The Chrisleys: Back to Reality. The show revealed a major fracture between siblings Savannah and Chase.
Sadly, Todd and Julie Chrisley weren’t home in 2023 to properly mourn Nic Kerdiles, who was once engaged to their daughter, Savannah. “It was just weird to come home and him not be there,” Julie Chrisley said on the family’s podcast after her prison release.
Todd and Julie have been various public appearances since reclaiming their lives. They traveled to Nacogdoches, Texas, over the weekend to support Rhonda Ward in her run for Texas State Senate.
The Republican is running to represent District 3 in the Texas State Senate. “You never know who you’re going to run into at Rig-down,” the Senate hopeful wrote on an Instagram snapshot with Todd and Julie Chrisley.
Fans Stunned By Julie Chrisley’s Massive Diamond
One Chrisley Knows Best fan wondered what could have brought the Chrisleys to Nacogdoches, Texas. They currently live in Nashville, Tennessee, but plan to move to Charleston, South Carolina, soon.
No matter why they were in Texas, something in the photo caught the attention of social media users. They couldn’t get over the size of the massive diamond ring on Julie Chrisley’s hand.
Fans wondered if the ring was new or if it was the same one she had before prison.

Julie Chrisley has faced a lot of comments about her appearance when leaving the prison versus after a makeover. She left the prison with brown hair instead of her usual blonde hair. While fans actually loved the darker hair on Julie, Todd didn’t and Julie quickly went back to blonde.
