Julie Chrisley Reveals Solo Show After Prison Release
Todd and Julie Chrisley spent two years in separate prisons after a jury found them guilty of defrauding the government. Todd Chrisley was sent to Florida while his wife was in a minimum security prison in Lexington, Kentucky. They weren’t allowed to communicate with each other during their prison stints.

After reviewing the details of the case, President Trump granted the reality stars full pardons. They were released from prison in May. However, adjusting to life outside bars wasn’t easy at first. They documented their release in The Chrisleys: Back to Reality on Lifetime.
The couple also resumed their Chrisley Confessions podcast after they got out of prison. In the grand scheme of things, the Chrisleys weren’t in prison long but came home to a fractured family.
Todd Chrisley shared huge news about his wife on the December 17th episode of the podcast. He revealed that Julie Chrisley will begin filming her own solo show in early 2026. She’s doing a cooking show starting in February. He joked that he would be producing the show.
However, Julie Chrisley immediately shut that idea down. “I’ve not heard this and I’ve not agreed to this. This is my baby. It’s not yours,” she told him.

Will Take Inspiration From Prison Food
Prison inmates are given three meals a day, but that’s not enough for most people to survive on. Family and friends can put money in an inmate’s commissary account so they can purchase things from the prison. However, most of the goods exchanged in prison are between inmates. Ramen is a delicacy in prison.
Todd Chrisley suggested that his wife include prison recipes on her new show. “I’ve been doing deep dives into comments that people have put on social media, whatever. And so many people want you to do segments of what you cooked while you were at summer camp,” he said, seemingly referring to her time in prison as “summer camp.”
“I will incorporate some of that into it,” Julie Chrisley said. She shared more details about what she has planned for the cooking show. “I want it to be things that I actually cook, and I want it to be things that everybody else can cook.
She added, “I don’t want it to be crazy ingredients that people have to go out here and search and find. I want the majority of it to be things that if you cook, that you would have in your pantry to cook.”
The reality star previously had a cooking series on social media, What’s Cooking with Julie Chrisley. Stay tuned for details on how to watch her exciting new solo show.
