Chrisley Knows Best alums Todd and Julie said adjusting to normal routines tested their patience. The pair also recently addressed why they chose to appear on The Masked Singer as The Croissants during season 14. Todd shared that every phase of their life, including prison, made them into who they are today. He said they did not want to completely remove that part of their life, as if it had not happened.
Instead, he viewed the 28 months behind bars as a period of growth for the couple. Todd explained that prison changed him emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically. He also said it opened his eyes to parts of society he hadn’t previously paid attention to. Julie also felt that everyone goes through tough times at least once in their lives. She stated that growth comes from embracing those difficult moments.

While appearing on the Chrisley Confessions 2.0 podcast, the Chrisley Knows Best stars, Todd and Julie, opened up about their lives after prison. The couple revealed that since they came back, they have noticed some changes in their 13-year-old daughter Chloe. Todd shared that it took time for the family to find their rhythm, but they are now in a good place. Julie explained that life feels very different now, especially since it is mostly just her, Todd, and Chloe at home.
The couple adopted Chloe in 2023 before having to go to prison. Todd described Chloe as confident, expressive, and quick with comebacks. He felt her attitude had gotten stronger with age. He talked about the difference between Chloe talking back to Julie and him talking back to Julie. Todd joked that there is more hesitation around him. The reality TV star also shared that Chloe has become more interested in beauty routines, such as hair styling, makeup, and salon visits.
Julie added that they try to pick their battles as parents and do not see stuff like this as an issue. However, Todd felt he drew the line with heavy makeup. Despite that, Julie revealed they spent $750 on makeup products for Chloe, and Savannah helped her through it. Savannah is Chloe’s legal guardian while the couple was in prison.
