The settlement was from a lawsuit against a former state investigator for misconduct stemming from the state tax case. With their television show and appearances, the couple is restoring their finances.
Yet, some fans called the Chrisleys out for wasting money, especially after serving time in prison for fraud.
- “a $750 Sephora makeup trip for a 13yo who is just “experimenting” with makeup, is wild”
- “$700 for makeup, for a 13 year old at that? That’s insane!!!”
- “I just said we are so not in the same league or planet .. 750 on makeup on a 13 yrs… Hell I don’t even spend 750 bucks on my makeup. Who can afford this lifestyle.”
- “who buys a 13 year old child all that makeup…???? Crazy.”
- “did I hear 700 freaking dollars for a child’s makeup???? Oh h*** no……love y’all but you need to desperately check yourselves on this one.”
Other fans defended the Chrisleys, pointing out that makeup is expensive these days, and $750 doesn’t really buy that much. Tell us in the comments if you think the purchase was justified or a huge waste of money.
