She spoke about the sad story on stage in front of thousands of people with pride. Just like Todd, she was sure that they didn’t commit any wrong, even if prosecutors claimed.
Fans were startled as Savannah became involved in politics, following Julie and Todd’s two-year stay in jail. They couldn’t believe they got the pardon much easier. On the Unlocked podcast, Savannah Chrisley discussed her political aspirations. Her parents’ fight made her consider a career in politics. She now aspires to a future in the field, although not at the moment. She pushed herself hard at first, but her priorities have changed. The reality star explained that once, during a press conference in the parking lot of the jail, she was given a lifetime of experience.

Savannah had an honest politician moment with 100 cars parked to hear her. Random people gave her their infants to click pictures. A baby girl tried to hold her hand and stand next to her. She called herself Princess Diana in that situation. She loved hugging strangers as they ran towards her, seeing her, and speaking.
But it also made Savannah take a step back. She said that she initially felt like politics would be her life, but clarified that she wouldn’t pursue it until the midterm of 2026. It would get her to the campaign trail. Todd’s daughter attended a meeting at the White House to discuss the suitability of running for a House seat in Tennessee.
Savannah said that she knows that the time isn’t in her favor. As she promoted her upcoming Lifetime show, “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality,” her heart and soul didn’t align with the impact she could accomplish one day.
