After President Trump granted her parents’ freedom from jail, she was honored with the “First America First Women’s Initiative Voice of Truth Award.” The event happened at the AFPI Ladies Leadership Luncheon at Mar-a-Lago. Stacey Schieffelin handed her the award and shared a few highlights from the event.
Stacey said the award is given to women who are bold enough to stand for faith over fear and live authentically. This year, the recipient was Savannah, who defied the odds and brought her parents home. Stacey praised her for showing unshakeable faith, conviction, and courage. Being honored with high regard overwhelmed Julie’s girl, who wants to carry the moments with her forever.

Savannah of Chrisley Knows Best is all set to fill the space of The View’s main host, Alyssa Farah Griffin, since she went away with her bags for maternity leave. Alyssa is the former White House Communications Director who gave birth to her son with her husband, Justin, earlier this week. Hence, ABC decided to bring some familiar faces for guest hosting on The View.
Fans might know that the permanent panelists are Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, and Sunny Hostin. Savannah will definitely take the scope to rule in the talk show during the new mother’s maternity leave. According to Deadline’s reports, she will kick off her hosting journey on February 17 alongside former The View hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Abby Huntsman.
Brian Teta, the executive producer, was recently interviewed by Deadline. He told them that Savannah as their choice was based solely on their intention to have a different perspective at the table. It’s not just applicable to Savannah; other personalities, similar to her or different, will be coming. He emphasized that those views wouldn’t just be political.
Savannah would need to cover a wide range of topics that fit the daytime show. Nobody can do the job better than her since she spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention about how her parents were wrongly imprisoned.
