Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Chrisley’s Son Kyle Sues Tennessee County For $1.7 Million Over A$$ault Arrest!

Chrisley Knows Best stars are finally coming back in form. For more than two years, they lived in a trance while their parents were behind bars, but now everything is getting better. The kids are also fighting for their rights. Todd’s son, Kyle Chrisley, filed a lawsuit against Rutherford County, Tennessee. He is suing them for $1.7 million and has also named two sheriff’s deputies in the case.
This lawsuit stems from his September 2024 aggravated assault arrest. A local outlet obtained the legal documents on Tuesday, August 19. In them, Kyle and his wife, Ashleigh, accuse authorities of falsely arresting him at his Tennessee home. They said everything started after an altercation with a disgruntled mechanic over a payment dispute. The mechanic showed up uninvited, kicked at their door, and threatened violence, even using his car as a weapon by driving their SUV and nearly running over Kyle in front of their neighbors.

Chrisley Knows Best: Coworker Claims Kyle Harassed Him!
The Chrisley Knows Best family faced yet another scandal when Kyle Chrisley’s coworker accused him of assault. According to RadarOnline.com, Kyle’s boss, Deven Campbell, claimed Kyle stormed into his office and attacked him over a paycheck dispute. Deven shared photos showing bruises, cuts, and bumps on his head, ear, and eye. He said Kyle struck him with the butt of a knife while threatening, “I’ll f****** kill you.”
Two coworkers rushed in, restrained Kyle, and locked the office door as Kyle allegedly threatened to kill them, too. They called 911, and the police arrested him. Deven revealed Kyle was angry after finding his paycheck was $36 short. Deven, Kyle’s boss, adjusted his schedule so he could visit Todd in prison, but he was not happy.
Chrisley Knows Best: Kyle & His Wife, Ashleigh Sue, Tennessee County & Two Sheriffs Over 2024 Arrest!
Kyle and his wife, Ashleigh, recently claimed that the Tennessee County court and two sheriffs wrongly arrested him in 2024. They explained that instead of arresting the man who caused the chaos, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Kyle. They ignored clear evidence showing that Kyle was the victim and not the aggressor. The couple filed a $1.7 million lawsuit.

In the same report, they accused the deputies of disregarding eyewitnesses and overlooking available video footage. They said the officers also failed to follow self-defense laws when they arrested Kyle. The documents further state that deputies threatened to arrest Ashleigh and ordered her to stop recording the scene. She had been protesting the wrongful arrest while documenting the officers’ misconduct on her cell phone.
Kyle and Ashleigh Chrisley brought the lawsuit because they believe no family should face criminal charges or threats of arrest for defending themselves. They don’t want something so wrong to repeat with someone else. In the lawsuit, they emphasized their intent to exercise their constitutional rights and their refusal to back down. The couple further alleged that one officer recognized Kyle from the show and rushed to arrest him.
They claimed the officer saw this as an opportunity to stir public controversy and make headlines by arresting a well-known figure. They also accused authorities of making a motivated arrest, fueled partly by animosity toward Kyle Chrisley based on his notoriety, past controversies, or perceived privilege.
