Duggar News: Josh Claimed He Was BROKE With Only 20 Cents
Before Josh Duggar came up with his high-profile lawyer, he was trying to convince his Duggar News followers about being broke. He revealed his financial condition and claimed that as of April 2025, he had just $0.22 in his account. Josh further told the court that he had a debt of $0.02 as he was unemployed in prison.
As per Josh, there was no way he was getting any money from anywhere, since his family also wasn’t sending him money on a regular basis. He further claimed that things were getting worse because he had no savings, property, or assets. This is why he was demanding “entitled to relief” from the court, as he wasn’t able to afford the fees and other expenditures.
Duggar News: Josh Has A New Lawyer! He Hires R. Kelly’s Lawyer, Beau Brindley
Duggar News readers earlier learned that Josh Duggar was trying to vacate his charges. An American District Judge, Timothy Brooks, reviewed the matter and set a hearing on March 4. It was supposed to be at 1:30 pm in Fayetteville. However, the scenario took a completely different turn when Kelly’s lawyer, Beau Brindley, entered into the dynamics.

Beau didn’t waste any time and filed motions in the U.S. District Court in Fayetteville to officially join Josh’s legal team. He further asked the court to press pause on the upcoming hearing. The noted lawyer claimed that he wanted some time to dig into the details of the entire case. Well, Josh and Beau’s luck worked as even Timothy signed off on both motions. This would give Beau some extra time to prepare for his next move.
But this doesn’t end here. Apparently, Beau further filed a motion to appear “Pro Hac Vise. This means he would be stepping into this case on one occasion. This is because Beau isn’t part of the Arkansas state bar, as he is a practicing lawyer in Illinois. This motion would allow him to become part of this case for once and defend Josh.
As of now, the court hasn’t revealed the new date for the hearing. However, viewers are pointing out the way Josh has been claiming he was broke before he hired a high-profile lawyer.
