Fans Freak & Tell Mama June To ‘Call Cops’
Mama June has dealt with a lot over tge last several years, from a drastic life-changing surgery to a serious drug addiction. She had lost her youngest daughter, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson, when she went to live with her sister, Pumpkin Efird. Ultimately, June got herself together, got sober, and has since tied the knot with Justin Stroud. She is far more present and is attempting to do her best with her family, which is great to see. Yet, not everyone is perfect, and they make mistakes, which seems to be what happened with June recently.
She is taking care of Alana while she recovers from a car accident, when she shared a clip of an SUV in a parking lot. The driver’s side door was open, and Mama June pointed out how scary this could be. She added that she hoped the driver was okay, and encouraged anyone who recognized the tag to reach out. Despite thinking she was being helpful, her fans and followers who saw the clip felt otherwise. They immediately laid into her and asked why she was posting on social media and not calling the cops. If she was so concerned, there was far more she could have done.
Additionally, followers told Mama June to stay out of the drama and just call the police. It was not worth her time, safety, or energy when she could be helping rather than sharing. Some chimed in with possible theories as to why the door was left open, but it is unclear what the exact reason was. Another did encourage June to go see what was going on and not just stand there chatting.
