‘Landman’ Season 2 Update: Exciting News for Demi Moore Fans!

SPOILER ALERT! This post contains spoilers from the Landman season finale!

Landman season one came to an end this week and there are several questions from fans! However, one big question is the status of one of the show’s stars, Demi Moore, should the Paramount+ series get renewed for a second season. The 62-year-old Golden Globe winning actress starred in the series as Cami Miller, the wife of Jon Hamm‘s Monty Miller and a friend to Billy Bob Thornton‘s Tommy Norris.

In the season one finale, Jon Hamm‘s character died. So, what does that mean for Demi‘s Cami and will she return to the show? Will she have a bigger role? Billy Bob told Deadline, “I think definitely if there were to be a second season, Demi will figure into it greatly.”

In another interview, co-creator Christian Wallace also teased her return. “There is a lot more story left to tell with Cami,” he told Variety. “Taylor [Sheridan] has big plans, that’s all I’m going to say.”

Demi Moore is getting into character for Landman season 2 — and she’s using her hair to do it.

The Substance actress, 62, debuted a brand new look that marks her most dramatic hair change in recent years. Moore swapped her long, middle-parted brunette hair for a much shorter, face-framing cropped style.

On Instagram, Moore posted a photo and video showing off her transformation. In the first picture, she’s seen wearing a brown ribbed cardigan and a pair of jeans, with shoulder length hair parted on the side. Pilaf, her small dog, is resting in her arms. She then shared a video of herself walking down a hallway, which gives viewers a look at the fresh style from the back.

Fans of the Striptease star’s long locks need not worry. The hair change doesn’t appear to be a permanent one, if her Instagram caption is any indicator. “@landmanpplus is officially back in production for season two!” she wrote under the post, hinting that the hair change is likely the result of a wig given to her by the hair and makeup team on Paramount+’s Landman.

Monty’s fate by the end of Landman is set into motion by the penultimate episode. The character is found unresponsive and gets transferred to a hospital. He needs a heart transplant if he has any hope of surviving. But, in the finale’s closing moments, it’s clear that the incapacitated Monty doesn’t make it. He dies, leaving behind distraught children and a shocked Cami.

We are currently still awaiting a renewal update on Landman. However, it seems a second season is VERY likely as the show was the No. 1 Paramount+ original (series or movie) ever for the streaming service!
