The father of one penned down his feelings in the caption, saying he had always wished to take Mateo to Mackinac Island ever since his birth. He longed for him to meet Amy’s dad and his grandpa. He admitted that despite being 95, his grandpa was a sharp and active man. The latter walked a mile with them, which was shocking.

Another picture was taken in Jacob’s house courtyard, with Mateo standing on a table to get a better view. The former called the latter a smart man because he brought him down to earth. Mateo eats tomatoes like apples. For snacks, he loves carrots that come straight from the ground. He plucks them and gets delighted by their taste.

Also, Mateo can climb ladders to pick plums and greet goats. Since he is fond of climbing, Jacob kept a space for him so that he would not become wild. The four-year-old is always ready to make use of things his parents provided him with. Jacob felt his pure-hearted boy had the spirit of his uncle Toe, making him watch him grow every day a bliss.
