Mama June: Josh Efird & Lauryn Shannon’s Separation
Last September, Josh and Lauryn finalized their divorce. The Mama June stars agreed to a 50/50 custody over their four children, Ella Grace, Bentley Jameson, Sylus Ray, and Stella Renae. They will take turns every week to watch over their children. According to Lauryn, it was beneficial to both of them, as they could have time for themselves outside of parenting. Josh and Lauryn revealed that their marriage has reached an irreversible brokenness. Many fans were surprised by their separation, and even Lauryn’s family is having a hard time accepting what happened.
Alana Can’t Accept Pumpkin’s Divorce
WeTV recently released a new preview clip from the upcoming episode of Mama June Season 7. The clip shows Lauryn Efird telling her sister, Alana Thompson, about her plans to divorce Josh. Alana was in disbelief, saying that she thought everything was going fine between Lauryn and Josh. According to Alana, she doesn’t even think she can wrap her mind around the fact that they’re divorcing, adding that she saw Lauryn and Josh being together forever. Many fans also agreed with Alana and expressed their sadness in the comments section.

Mama June: June Shannon Goes Off On Josh
June Shannon also reacted to Josh Efird’s interview, where he seemingly blames her for the downfall of his marriage. According to Josh, June did play a “really big part” in how his marriage fell apart. The Mama June star added that the issues June was causing over the years have taken a toll on him and Lauryn. It came to a point where they had to “flee” from her drug dealers, who wanted all her money. He went on to say that June’s chaos kept following them no matter what they did. But June said in her post that Josh should also learn to take accountability for his own actions instead of pointing fingers.
