Pumpkin’s Lesbian Lover Speaks Out?
When Pumpkin Efird was barely a teenager, she came out to Mama June and her then-partner, Sugar Bear. No one seemed to mind or even care that this was her life. She then ended up in a relationship with Josh Efird, whom she married and had four children with. He was always by her side, trying to make her feel better and encouraging her. Unfortunately, that relationship came crashing down in August 2024 as they filed for divorce. Pumpkin was rumored to be having an affair with Josh’s cousin, Darrin Kitchens, and they quickly went public with their romance.
There were infidelity accusations, but ultimately, both Pumpkin and Josh have moved on. Now, a former same sex lover of Pumpkin’s is speaking her truth. Allegedly, Pumpkin cheated on Josh with this woman four years ago, while she was still married. More so, she maintained that the two ladies were serious and that Pumpkin claimed she and Josh were divorcing. Clearly, that was false, and they were very much together. One fan had this to say about the revelation:
- Pumpkin’s Former Lesbian Lover said this about Pumpkin. She said they had a love affair for years. I’m hearing so many stories of Pumpkin and Josh had affairs on eachother all throughout their Marriage.
So, this is not something new, but to hear that she was with a woman for some time is a bit shocking. Again, Mama June was very accepting of whatever Pumpkin Efird chose to do and who she wanted to date. Interestingly enough, Pumpkin’s sister, Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon, came out and is now engaged to Shyann McCant.
This is an interesting development, and fans did not hold back with their feelings.
Not A Good Look
Mama June fans and followers who learned about this alleged affair felt that Pumpkin’s ex had nothing to brag about. Although she may have believed being in a secret romance with Pumpkin was “spilling tea,” it was something that could have remained private:
- How is that something to brag about? The “tea” you acquired isn’t worth what you did….ick
- There’s been rumors of them being swingers and such, so I wonder if they had an open marriage, and Pumpkin getting with cuzbin was just a step too far for Josh?
- Gettin stankity stank from pumpkin is something you shouldn’t want to admit out loud. So I’m guessing she’s been cheating longer than we knew, lol
- Setting that aside, it seems like a lot of people in Lauryn’s inner circle are turning on her lately. I can’t help but wonder—is this about money, or has her behavior gotten worse since the divorce from Josh?
One person who claimed to live near Pumpkin Efird stated that she and Josh allegedly had an open relationship. Moreover, they were shocked that the divorce did not happen sooner.
