Why Is Alana & Mama June No Longer In Touch With Sugar Bear?
Honey Boo Boo and Mama June Shannon confirmed that they have no relationship with Sugar Bear. As a daughter, Alana doesn’t want to do anything with him. During the press conference, she confirmed that he remained out of the picture for years and that she didn’t talk to him for a long time. June added that she doesn’t want her Sugar Bear anymore.
June also recalled the last time she saw her ex-partner was when he appeared in court to return to his daughter’s life. It felt crazy to her. Pumpkin got full custody of Alana after June slipped into drug addiction. Hence, Sugar Bear’s connection with the family is zero, impossible to reverse. Following the release of “I Was Honey Boo Boo,” he commented on Alana’s Facebook page, saying he hated the film.
Mama June Makes Alana Think About Her Future Apart From Dralin!
During episode two of Family Crisis, June and her family’s concerns revolved around Alana and her bright future. The attorney told Alana that Dralin might get a 10-year prison sentence for his March 2023 DUI arrest. Hence, as a mom of three, June honestly shared her opinion, stating that if her girl sacrifices her nursing for him, she will be stupid.
Alana is emotionally involved in Dralin’s legal troubles, but she also has amazing future career goals. He has evaded the law in Monroe County, which is making her reflect on the possible impact of it on their relationship. She called ten years of maximum imprisonment “insane” because she had already decided to buy a house with him.
