June Shannon of Mama June fame recently shared that she was about to have some fun in a recent share on social media. In the video, she also showed off her figure, complete with a black ensemble. However, June wasn’t the only one with a new look to share with fans.
The Mama June Star Was Heading Out For A Big Event, Complete With A ‘Date’
Fans came to know members of the Shannon family through various reality shows. This includes Toddlers & Tiaras and Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
More recently, the family became the focus of the We TV series, Mama June, named for matriarch June Shannon, which premiered in 2017. Early on, the show especially highlighted June’s weight loss transformation, originally highlighted with the subtitle “From Not to Hot.”
June recently took to Instagram to share that she and Justin were heading out for a big event. As she wrote in a caption, “We [are] ready for the charity event with Mindy’s MVP Boutique annual event. It was a good weekend. We clean up good. LOL Thomas Justin Stroud.”
In the video, June described the event as an “adult prom” for Mindy’s Boutique. She noted that this was an annual event, usually happening on the first or second week of September.
June then stepped back to let fans get a better look at her outfit, as well as flaunt her figure. She noted that the black ensemble was from David’s Bridal. She also made sure to highlight her “Rebel Raven” necklace and her makeup, the latter of which she credited to Makeup By Kelsey XO XO.

June then stepped away so that fans could see Justin in his outfit. Her husband, and date to the prom, was seen wearing a salmon-colored polo shirt and American Eagle jeans. Around his neck, he could be seen wearing a chain and a necklace with the word “King” written on it.
June finished the video saying, “Let’s go guys, and let’s go have fun. Here at Fort Worth…let’s go enjoy our last night here.” In a quick addition, June also showed off her “blinged-out purse,” which she shared also came from Mindy’s Boutique.”
Fans also shared their responses to June and Justin’s prom outfits in the comments. Knowing how far she’s come on her health journey, a few fans noted how proud they were of June. Many also hoped she had a good time at the event. Some comments included:
