Sharon married Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne in 1982. In addition to her own career as a music manager, she became known to fans through the reality series, The Osbournes, which focused on her and her family.
In addition, Sharon continued to make a name for herself as a television personality. This includes serving as a judge on The X Factor and America’s Got Talent, as well as a host on The Talk.
Back on July 16, 2024, Sharon and her family, including Ozzy himself, spoke together on their podcast, The Osbournes. At the time, they were addressing concerns that they were leaving Hollywood.
During the conversation, Sharon mentioned how she felt uncomfortable with the idea of small children being in competition shows. She then asked if anyone recalled “that pageant girl with the big mother.” Her son Jack responded that she was talking about “Honey Boo Boo,” also known as Alana Thompson.
Sharon then addressed a time she met members of the Shannon family while on The Talk. She shared, “I was interviewing Honey Boo Boo’s mother,” who Jack addressed as “Mama June.”
Sharon then claimed June “had food stains all over her clothes and stunk like a haddock… I’m thinking to myself, ‘What the f*** am I doing talking to Mrs. Boo Boo.”

Kelly then brought up that a magazine had a scratch-and-sniff promotion for one of the seasons of Mama June. This caused her mother to ask if it smelled like haddock. For her part, Kelly shared she was unnerved by the idea of using a scratch-and-sniff promotion while watching a child.
One of the crew members then shared he had worked on one of the Shannon family’s shows. This caused Sharon to ask if the house smell, before adding, “She was disgusting. I mean, honestly, like loads of food everywhere on her clothes.”
