She then talked about the meaning of her name, which she usually does whenever she shares a long message for her grandchildren. According to Kelly Jo, Hazel’s name has a different meaning depending on the language. She wrote, “Your name in Hebrew means “God has seen,” & in Celtic, Irish, & Greek it takes on the meaning of “knowledge, inspiration, & protection,” because those are the qualities the Hazel Tree represents in those cultures.” But what left many Bringing Up Bates fans in awe was Kelly Jo’s efforts to wear a Disney princess outfit to make her granddaughter’s birthday even more special.
