In a recent sneak peek of Mama June: From Not To Hot, emotions boil over as Pumpkin slams Josh for his behavior toward her new man, Darrin. Josh has expressed his ick towards Pumpkin and Darrin in the past. Now she confronts him about his behavior, making some really good points, stating that he started a whole new family after the divorce.
Pumpkin and Josh divorced in 2024. They are parents to four kids, and they co-parent now. But Josh had a baby with his partner seven months after the divorce, and it seems Pumpkin cannot forget it. Mama June: Pumpkin Confronts Josh Over Cutting Off Alana After Divorce
On Mama June: From Not to Hot, Pumpkin meets her ex Josh at a cafe after their divorce. Even though they now live separately, issues still remain. Pumpkin straight-up asks him why Josh distanced himself from his younger sister, Alana, after the divorce. She feels it’s unfair since Alana had nothing to do with their breakup. Josh defends himself, saying he didn’t mean to hurt her and only stayed away to not cause any stress.
Josh also admits that moving on hasn’t been easy for him, especially since Pumpkin has been with Darrin for a while. He says life has been tough, and while dealing with personal struggles, he pulled away from people. Still, he makes it clear that he truly loves Alana and cares deeply about her. He says he doesn’t see her any differently from his own kids and feels proud of helping raise her. Recently, he did meet up with Alana and talked it out.

Pumpkin and Josh are still far from being friendly exes. In a new preview of Mama June: From Not to Hot, Pumpkin confronts Josh about his behavior. She calls out his disrespectful behavior toward her new boyfriend, Darrin. Pumpkin feels that she has been cordial with him after he started a family with another woman just months after the divorce.
Josh, however, pushes back during the argument, claiming that Pumpkin moved on too quickly and started living with Darrin soon after. Josh states in the confessional that Pumpkin filed for the divorce. Also, he doesn’t understand why he should play by her timeline for moving on or even play nice to Darrin. Pumpkin then points out that, despite Josh’s disapproval, he needs to accept Pumpkin’s new boyfriend.
Despite the tension, both agree they must stay cordial and respectful for their children’s sake. Josh says he has no reason to interact with Darrin, but Pumpkin insists they need to stay respectful and sociable.
